PointGate has recently concluded it’s official handover of the MKN National Disaster Command CenterProject which included many very high-profile, high priority components for the project, including a Command and Control Center as well as the the National Disaster Management System, to be utilized by the Army, Police and Bomba during times of emergency or disaster. After the successful completion of the project, PointGate entered into a 2 year maintenance program with MKN, the culmination of which, was the official handover ceremony.
The ceremony was officiated by IR Mohd Shah Nuri bin Md Zain, the Project Director of the NDCC project, at the Palm Garden Resort, PutraJaya on the 9th of June, 2015. Also in attendance were En. Mohd Shahrul bin Mohd Arif and En. Saiyed Mohd Akhbarino, members of the MKN NDCC Special Technical Projects Team. The PointGate Project team were in full force, getting together to celebrate the handover and the collaborative work relationship over the last few years with their MKN counterparts. A Video presentation was shown to depict the historical movement and milestones of the project via images which then led to Q&A amongst the attendees before the official signing ceremony commenced. Thereafter, PointGate presented the Project Director with a commemorative plaque to signify their appreciation and gratitude for the cooperation and the collaborative nature of the teamwork accorded by the MKN team members. After the group photos, lunch was served at noon.
